Superconducting source and sensor of single bubbles to study nucleate boiling of liquid helium

چکیده

Joule heat generated by resistive elements of cryogenic micro- and nanodevices often originates boiling the cooling liquids (helium, nitrogen). The article proposes an experimental method to explore dynamics formation development a single vapor bubble in liquid sensing temperature change superconducting thin-film microbridge being state with phase slip center or line. It serves both source for generating bubbles surface sensor due its temperature-dependent excess current. average detachment rate volume were experimentally determined nucleate helium boiling. obtained values are good agreement data other authors found literature.
